Supplier Diversity
For more than three decades JPMorgan Chase has been dedicated to the development and utilization of qualified businesses from diverse and historically underrepresented groups including companies owned and operated by ethnic minorities, women, military veterans, disabled veterans, service-disabled veterans, people with disabilities and members of the LGBT+ community.
Our Global Supplier Diversity program is focused on facilitating the growth and development of businesses in our supply chain network; promoting equity and inclusion across our entire portfolio of supply chain business partners and driving economic growth in the communities in which we do business.
The firm spends over $2 billion with diverse businesses annually, and its strategy focuses on more than diverse supplier spend. JPMorgan Chase is leveraging the strength of its total procurement organization, business and community partners to lower common barriers faced by diverse businesses.
We have created a Supplier Diversity Network (SDN) through which certified diverse-owned businesses register with the firm. The SDN is the primary resource through which our supplier diversity and procurement teams identify eligible businesses for consideration in contracting opportunities.
Businesses registered in the SDN are required to be diligent in maintaining current and accurate information in the system. This engagement ensures maximum consideration for appropriate opportunities, and enables access to special events and resources for diverse businesses including information sessions, workshops, programs and initiatives, and networking receptions.
